Dr. M. V. Shetty Memorial Trust was instituted in memory of Dr. M.V. Shetty, M.S., FRCS, FRFPS (1917-1976) was an eminent Surgeon and Professor of Surgery. He was also a Commandant of Home Guards and Director of Lions Artificial Limb centre, Mangalore. Recognizing his meritorius service in the filed of health to the society, Dr. Shetty was awarded President's Gold Medal at the 28th Republic Day Celebrations. In his memory, the Dr. M.V. Shetty Memorial Trust (R) was founded in the year 1985 by his son Dr. M. Ramgopal Shetty, MS, FICS, FICA.,Vascular Surgeon, Mangalore. The Trust is dedicated in continuing the noble work started by the visionary to impart quality education in the field of health sciences and rendering health services to the needy people of the society. Now the trust with the objective of giving technical education to the rural needy people, has started an Engineering College at Thodar, Moodabidri, Mangalore.

Eligibility:-


  • Candidates with 45% marks in the aggregate with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with anyone of the following subjects.
  • Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Electronics/ Biology in their Pre-University or 12th standard or equivalent examinations recognized by the V.T.U.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the minimum marks for purpose of eligibility shall be 40%
  • Diploma candidates who have secured not less than 45% marks in the final year examination are also eligible. (For ST/SC/OBC candidates it is 40%)

Admission Criteria:-
  50% of seats in all the branches are filled through CET entrance exam and councelling conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka. 25% of seats filled through COMEDK entrance exam and councelling conducted by KUPECA. 25% seats are filled by Management.

Fee Structure:- Rs.1.25 Lakhs per year as fixed by Govt. of Karnataka.
 B.E (Electrical & Electronics Engineering)


Duration:- 4 years

Eligibility:-
